2-Month IoT Course

Learn the Internet of Things (IoT) from scratch to intermediate level. Understand sensors, microcontrollers, communication, and build your own smart IoT project.

About the Course

This 2-month IoT course introduces students to the fascinating world of Internet-connected devices. Starting from basic electronics and sensors, learners progress to programming microcontrollers, collecting data, and connecting devices to the cloud. The course ends with a hands-on mini project.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the fundamentals of IoT and its applications.
  • Learn about sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers (Arduino/ESP boards).
  • Interface sensors and collect real-time data.
  • Learn to connect devices through Wi-Fi and send data to cloud platforms.
  • Develop and present a functional IoT mini project.

Course Duration & Schedule

Duration: 2 Months (Approx. 60 Hours)
Mode: Offline
Schedule: 1.5 – 2 Hours per session, 4–5 days per week

Course Modules

Month 1 — IoT Fundamentals & Hardware Basics

  • Introduction to IoT: Definition, Components, and Applications
  • Basic Electronics Concepts: Voltage, Current, Resistance, Power
  • Overview of Sensors & Actuators (Temperature, Motion, Light, etc.)
  • Introduction to Microcontrollers (Arduino UNO / ESP8266)
  • Programming Basics with Arduino IDE
  • Hands-on: Reading data from sensors and controlling LEDs

Month 2 — IoT Connectivity & Cloud Integration

  • Data Communication in IoT: Serial, I2C, Wi-Fi
  • Introduction to IoT Cloud Platforms (ThingSpeak / Blynk / MQTT)
  • Sending Sensor Data to Cloud and Visualizing it
  • Controlling Devices Remotely via Mobile Apps or Web
  • Introduction to IoT Security and Best Practices
  • Mini Project: Smart Home / Weather Monitoring System

Mini Project & Certification

Each student will design and implement a small-scale IoT project integrating sensors, connectivity, and data monitoring. Upon successful completion, a Certificate in IoT (Beginner to Intermediate) will be awarded by Unnao Computer Academy.
